Many highly industrialized regions have recognized the benefits presented by the shift to a low carbon economy and are pressing ahead to accelerate the energy transition. Through the Energy Transition Platform, 11 leading sub-national governments have shared the opportunities and challenges they face in their jurisdictions, working together to develop and implement tangible solutions.

This event will close this two-year project, presenting its results and discussing what needs to happen, locally and at the European level, to scale up action.
